POOP CHANG LAGOON
DESCRIPTION
It is a beautiful green lagoon with warn water for swimming. It is surrounded by an exuberant vegetation and the main types of flora are: paloma corozo, oak, cedar, mahogany, hormiguillo, chicozapote, hule, romerillo, sabino, manzanilla, amate, ceiba, gurumbo and jimba.
GETTING THERE
Departing from Palenque on Federal highway No 199, then take the Fronteriza del sur and go 117Km until the intersection of Nueva Palestina, there go 15 km to the subcommunity of Nueva Palestina. From the downtown to this tourism center you travel 3 Km.
