Description:

La cueva del coati camp is located in the mayan village known as Lacanja Chansayab, ocosingo county, Chiapas, Mexico.it is settled in the lacandonian jungle.
This center is managed by 4 native lacandon men. Since 1998 this working team is known in Lacanja as La cueva del tejon.
These courageous men have been working to preserve the local flora and fauna; taking special care of endangered species such as tapirs, crocodiles and the jaguar, among others.

Getting there:

Our center is located in the core of the lacandonian jungle. It is very close to the well known ruins of Bonampak and many other archeological sites such as Yaxchilan.
