Description

It is located in a small town called Frontera Corozal which has as a natural borderline the Usumacinta River between Mexico and Guatemala. The Usumacinta River is used for traveling to the archaeological site of Yaxchilan in Chiapas, Mexico and to the archeological site of Tikal in Guatemala.

Getting there

 First, take the 199 federal road and go 173 kilometers (107.50 miles). Then take the Fronteriza del Sur and go 163 kilometers (101.28 miles) up to the intersection called Corozal. Here branch off to the left and go 13 kilometers (8.08 miles) and you’ll be there.
